Library presenters report 38 summer programs, ask council for FY2027 programming funds

Library staff gave the Fayette City Council a recap of summer activities and a request for next year’s programming budget. They said the library ran 38 programs this summer, held seven summer camps, engaged about 10 youth counselors and attracted nearly 2,000 total participants. "We had 38 programs," a library presenter said, adding that 53 people completed the library's summer challenge and winners received tickets to a closing "Dino Splash" event.
