David Bernstein walked the committee through the authentication and audit workflow he has used in Wayland and elsewhere. His design calls for in‑person pre‑credentialing at the town clerk’s office; voters would receive a paper containing a meeting URL, username, a secret voter code, a password and an audit code. At check‑in a still image is taken and retained only for the session to help detect impersonation.
