Justice Meeks presented ordinance 26-20 and asked the committee to increase Faulkner County's annual allotment to the Faulkner County Health Unit from $45,000 to $51,000, a $6,000 increase she said would let the unit pay bills on time through the end of the year. Meeks said the health unit had not requested an increase in about 30 years and provided documents showing monthly expenses and some late fees.
