Lead-service Phase II bids under budget; same contractor selected for continuity
Phase II of the city's lead service line replacement returned a competitive low bid from the same contractor used in Phase I; staff recommended and the Committee moved the award to Council for authorization.

Director Hiscock advised the Committee that bids for Lead Service Phase II had been received and that the low bidder was the same company that completed Phase I. Engineer Glenn Davis told members the low bid was roughly $60,000 below the second-lowest bid and that staff were satisfied with the bidder’s prior performance.
