Chair closed the Committee of the Whole session by confirming a September 14 work session to focus on mandated versus non‑mandated services and other budget priorities ahead of the county's preliminary levy-setting date. "We have a work session coming up on September 14... Because we're setting the preliminary levy on September 29," the chair said, urging members to prepare for that meeting.
