Cook County proposes $19,500 independent review of recycling program

Neva Maxwell, the presenter to the Committee of the Whole, asked the board to contract an independent review of Cook County's recycling program to determine current operations, costs and alternatives. "The proposal for the review is $19,500," Maxwell said, adding an optional cost-of-service analysis and 10-year forecast is available for an additional $6,000.
