The Taylor County Board of County Commissioners opened a public hearing on Aug. 3 to receive statements of qualifications for a design‑build improvement project for Fire Station 7. Chair said the board had received submissions and that the review will be a two‑phase process to shortlist qualified firms for a later competitive bid.
