At its Aug. 11 meeting the Planning Commission recorded the following actions, each approved by a 3-0 vote among commissioners recorded as present: approval and referral of incentive-based architectural design standards (including an option to allow building heights up to 80 feet); acceptance of revised traffic-impact study language granting supervisors discretion; approval of data-center ordinance edits (with a requested textual correction); and motions to request Board policy clarification on electronic message signs and to approve sign-plaza revisions subject to definition clarifications.
