The Dallas County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 2026-0029 on March 19, 2026, certifying the results of the March 17, 2026 City of West Des Moines at-large runoff election to fill a vacancy. The motion to adopt the resolution was made by Supervisor Brad Golightly and seconded by Chair Julia H. Helm; the minutes record "All ayes. Motion carried." The resolution text states that "the Board of Supervisors hereby certifies and declares the final results of the election."
