Administration returned a pair of addenda to the board that would formalize educator-preparation pathways with Sam Houston State University: one addendum for year-long clinical teaching and another for an intensive teacher residency model. Dr. Terrell King and Cynthia Bundich said administrators had reviewed the student-perception survey instruments (K–2, 3–5, and 6–12 versions) and that the surveys are intended to support teacher-candidate growth under cooperating teachers. They emphasized FERPA protections and parental-rights safeguards and said "Student level results will not be reported in an identifiable manner."
