Board adopts multiple policy updates and routine consent items in unanimous votes
Trustees approved a batch of policy updates, personnel and financial consent items, and other routine motions; most motions passed 5 to 0, including approval of the minutes, policies, personnel reports and the certificate application as presented.

At the Aug. 13 meeting the board moved through a set of policy updates and routine consent items. Chair Sarah Starkey called for votes on the packet of policies (including strategic planning and administrative organization items) after trustees raised minor wording edits; the motion to adopt the policy packet passed unanimously. "We have a motion on the floor properly seconded. Any other questions or discussion? Then I'll call for a vote," Starkey said before the vote count.
