Upson County Commission tentatively sets 2026 millage rates
The Upson County Board of Commissioners on Aug. 11 tentatively set the countywide millage at 8.244, the unincorporated millage at 1.026 and a joint projects rate of 2.90. The motion passed unanimously; the clerk will schedule public hearings on the rate.

The Upson County Board of Commissioners voted on Aug. 11 to tentatively set the 2026 millage rates, recording a countywide rate of 8.244, an unincorporated rate of 1.026 and a joint projects rate of 2.90. Chairman Dan R. Brue II made the motion, and Commissioner Benjamin Watson seconded; the vote was unanimous.
