Alexsys Thompson proposes aligning zoning maps with post-development land use

At the Sept. 3 meeting of the Town of Starksboro Planning Commission, presenter Alexsys Thompson proposed changing language in the town plan and zoning bylaws so that the mapped district for a lot reflects the lot’s post-development use. Thompson told commissioners she had circulated proposals earlier this year and asked the commission to consider rules that would allow a single district designation for an entire development that otherwise would straddle multiple districts.
