Budget staff recommended creating a second custodian/maintenance position to handle both the courthouse and the annex after reopening the courthouse. Jordan said the workload is currently overwhelming for existing staff and that a second full-time position—together with a part-time employee flowing between buildings—would allow the county to maintain both facilities.
