Board approves Log Cabin Road speed reduction, to study Fair Haven Church Road request
Commissioners unanimously approved reducing the speed limit on Log Cabin Road from 35 to 25 mph; the board heard a request for crush-and-run on Fair Haven Church Road and directed staff to investigate costs and feasibility after a road-committee assessment favored alternate routes for emergency services.

At the Aug. 17 meeting, Michael Catoe asked the board to lower the speed limit on Log Cabin Road from 35 mph to 25 mph. Commissioner Leigh Ann Greene moved to approve the change, Commissioner Sharon Cobb Flanagan seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
