During Q&A on the district's AI readiness, staff recounted a procurement test of an AI-detection product that did not meet accuracy expectations. A staff speaker described running samples through the vendor's system during procurement and said the product "did not pass. It identified things that were AI as original and original things as AI." The procurement team therefore declined to adopt that product at this time.
