Man says county tree work damaged leased building; commission to investigate
Michael French told the commission a county crew dropped a tree on the corner of his leased building, causing internal and exterior damage with contractor estimates of $60,000 to $90,000. Commissioners asked staff to take his contact information and follow up.

Michael French came to the public-comment portion of the meeting to report damage to a leased building he occupies. French said that while county crews were clearing trees in a nearby utility corridor, "they dropped a tree on it and broke the hip," causing a separation in the stone exterior and interior damage.
