The full story

Council leaders introduced Ordinance 25‑0‑16, a comprehensive revision to Aberdeen’s development code that revises zoning districts, eliminates the M2 industrial district, updates parking and landscaping requirements, and adds a critical‑area overlay. Council President Hayab (acting as the sponsor) moved to introduce the ordinance; the motion was seconded and carried by roll call with four members voting aye.
