County honors churches, civic groups for tornado response
Kankakee County recognized Aroma Park United Methodist Church, Asbury United Methodist Church, Knights of Columbus and Project Headspace and Timing for providing facilities, transportation and long-term recovery assistance after a tornado, praising community coordination and volunteer support.
