Zoning director proposes new permits and fee resolution for board consideration next week

Emmet County Zoning Director Steve Hallgren told supervisors he has submitted a new sign-permit application and is proposing new forms for a zoning compliance permit, variance application and rezoning request. Hallgren said the relocation of a cabin found outside Emmet County onto a property will require a conditional-use permit and that a permit-fee resolution will be brought before the board at next week’s meeting to set fees for the new applications.
