Council considered a parcel realignment involving properties at 252 East Walnut Street and 111 North Spring Street. Staff explained the current parcel configuration places a garage on a different pin than the house; the applicant sought to divide the parcel so each structure sits on a single lot rather than an awkward split. The planning staff said a preliminary plat could be waived because streets and utilities are already in place, and the council moved to forward the matter to the planning commission for final-plat approval.
