Mayor Derek Weathers presented three proclamations during the meeting. He proclaimed POW/MIA Recognition Day observances in Cleburne and noted a ceremony hosted by American Legion Post 50 at 313 West Chambers on 09/18/2026. He also proclaimed Sept. 11, 2026 as Patriot Day of Remembrance and Sept. 17–23, 2026 as Constitution Week, encouraging participation in local remembrance and educational activities including 'Bells Across America' at 3 p.m. on Sept. 17.
