During the onboarding discussion commissioners raised risk areas they want emphasized early in orientation. One commissioner said the short-term risk for new commissioners is "privileged information" and urged training to reduce accidental breaches. Staff agreed and recommended early attorney–client privilege training alongside state webinars on government ethics and public meetings law.
