County to update solid-waste plan using DEP guidance, staff says

The director said staff are coordinating with the Department of Environmental Protection on a revision of the county's solid-waste management plan and that staff members Deanna Miller and Abby Thomas are reviewing DEP technical guidance. "We are coordinating with, Department of Environmental Protection, on our revision to that plan," the director said, and staff will send an official kickoff letter to begin the update process.
