The Board held a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance to amend Title 5, Chapter 5 of the Soddy‑Daisy Municipal Code to incorporate the city’s Purchasing Policy into the municipal code. City Manager Johnson said moving the Purchasing Policy into the code will make it publicly accessible instead of a file kept on the manager’s computer. City Attorney Elliott noted the ordinance reflects recent legislative changes to procurement limits.
