Board asks staff to clarify state permit changes after member raises threshold question

Near the end of the Sept. 9 meeting a board member asked whether a recent Florida law changed permit requirements for work under $7,500. Staff responded that there were new bills with potentially relevant provisions but that the issue is “a little bit more complicated,” and offered to present details at a future meeting.
