The Cleburne County Commission tabled a request Aug. 15 by Commissioner Emmett Owen to use $3,000 of discretionary funds for the county animal shelter. Commissioner Laura Cobb moved to table the resolution and Commissioner Owen seconded; the motion carried unanimously.
