The Emergency Management Agency told the council it has used about 75% of its 2025 fuel budget due to increased run volume and requested an additional $20,000; the council tabled that request while staff investigate a countywide fuel procurement program to seek better pricing. Separately, the council approved spending $5,531.28 from EMA’s nonreverting fund to finish outfitting a hazmat trailer and to buy two active-shooter medical response kits; the agency is also pursuing a grant to acquire foam for the trailer.
