Memorial Hall redevelopment moves forward in study phase; Sandvik Coon Ceres recommended for hotel management RFQ

Representatives from the Greater Lima Region and the Allen County Port Authority updated the commissioners July 23 on the Memorial Hall redevelopment. Consultants and contractors have been engaged: Freytag and Associates as design professional, Weigand Construction as construction manager at-risk, and The Spencer Group completed a feasibility study. The board heard that RFQs for a hotel management company produced three proposals and the review committee recommended Sandvik Coon Ceres Group to continue work on project feasibility.
