Liberty Township Trustee Brad Butler and his attorney, Mark Waterfill, asked the board to begin the process of establishing the Liberty Township Fire District. The Commissioners voted to schedule a public hearing during the Oct. 27, 2026 meeting at 9:00 AM; Liberty Township will be responsible for required publications and mailings.
