Chief of Police Jesse James updated the Board on department staffing and activities. He said an officer is transitioning back to patrol and Detective Nelson has been assigned to the detective position following internal posting; CVTC intern Josh Miller completed his internship and moved to an auxiliary officer role; Sergeant Sokup represented the K‑9 program at a community event with an anticipated donation; and the department is evaluating technology needs for the 2027 budget.
