Commission votes unanimously to end FT Benning stray facility contract

The Commission of the Unified Government of Cusseta–Chattahoochee County voted unanimously on Nov. 4, 2025 to end the county's contract with the FT Benning stray facility. Commissioner Gerald Douglas made the motion to terminate the agreement; Commissioner Jason Frost seconded and the commission recorded a unanimous vote.
