Vernon County Coroner Betty Nigh told the Board of Health that the office recorded 20 deaths in July — 11 male and 9 female — with 12 cremations, eight burials, 17 natural deaths, one accidental death and two cases pending. She also shared monthly coroner revenue of $2,080.00 and expenses totaling $6,638.85.
