Bay County Commissioner Vaughn Begick provided a county update during the June 15 meeting, reporting that the Bay County Health Department and Department of Health and Human Services offices have moved to a Wilder Road facility, progress continues on a new animal shelter near the fairgrounds, and a Bay County aquatic facility under construction is anticipated to open in 2027.
