County updates Bug Tussel fiber project progress and recruiting plans

County Administrator Todd Romenesko and Corporation Counsel Kimberly Tenerelli updated the Administrative Services Committee on the Bug Tussel fiber-optics project on Sept. 8, 2026 and noted the county’s $6 million bond support provided in December 2021. Romenesko said staff are continuing coordination with the provider as the project progresses.
