Chief Financial Officer Trista Besich opened the Fiscal Year 2027 budget hearing during the Aug. 19, 2026 work session. Besich stated that "the Budget Hearing will continue from day to day through September 3, 2026," and the record sets a planned close time of Sept. 3, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
