The commission approved a street closure request from the Riggs Student Council for the T.F. Riggs Homecoming Parade on Sept. 22, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.; route will match prior years with a revised line-up due to parking lot construction.

Ally Bauer and Elaina Rounds of the Riggs Student Council presented a street closure request for the T.F. Riggs Homecoming Parade on Sept. 22, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The route will be the same as previous years, but because of parking lot construction the parade line-up will be on Broadway and will wrap north on Jefferson Avenue.
