Residents at the July 22 meeting pressed trustees for clearer communication and mitigation during Main Street construction, complaining about early start times, removed trees and impacts on businesses. Anne Murphy of 85 New Street "expressed concern about noise from Main Street and the condition of Main Street during construction as well as communication about what is going on regarding the project," and other residents asked whether funds or repaving would address localized impacts.
