Committee reviews Title 3 grants for side-scan sonar, ice kit and rifle replacements

County staff reviewed planned uses of remaining Title 3 grant funds and described several purchases intended to improve search-and-recovery capability and replace worn patrol rifles. The purchases include a side-scan sonar for the patrol boat plus an ice-kit adapter for winter recovery; staff said those items fall under search-and-rescue and are appropriate for Title 3 grant eligibility.
