The Board of Adjustment voted to continue consideration of a special-exception request from a Wilmette Construction representative after staff recommended denial because the proposed site plan lacks required on-site parking, creates tandem parking that would block an ADA space, and raises emergency-access concerns.

The City of Ocala Board of Adjustment on July 20 continued a special-exception application for a property at the corner of Northeast Sanchez Avenue and Northeast 3rd Street, after staff recommended denial and board members said the submitted site plan fails to meet on-site parking and circulation standards. "Based on the findings of fact, staff recommends denial of the special exceptions SE 20 six-one," Planning staff told the board during their presentation.
