Comanche County extends Ahlschlager Park lease through June 2027
The board approved a first amendment to a lease with the City of Lawton and the Lawton Water Authority to extend the term for property known as Ahlschlager Park until June 30, 2027; the original lease dated July 2016 had expired June 30, 2026.

The Board of Comanche County Commissioners on Aug. 31 approved a first amendment to a lease covering property at 17th Street and "G" Avenue, commonly known as Ahlschlager Park. Commissioner Ryan John moved the amendment; Josh Powers seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
