St. Augustine commission approves fire-assessment fee increase
The City Commission adopted resolution 2026-25 to raise residential fire-assessment fees from 7.76¢ to 9¢ per square foot and nonresidential fees from 13.91¢ to 16¢, with staff saying the increase helps fund equipment replacement and capital needs such as a fire truck.
