The district court administrator requested county signature on a contract to upgrade the jury-management software to a web-based system at a cost of $30,095, to be split across two calendar years. The administrator said the first payment this calendar year would be $15,095 and noted the upgrade will reduce local IT workload while continuing necessary IT involvement in jury processes. The contract includes 6,000 text messages per year as part of the service.
