Dave Buds, founder and executive director of OP Overwatch, used the program's first recorded episode to argue for a cultural and linguistic shift in how responder trauma is discussed. He said the organization deliberately "removes the word disorder" and teaches the science behind trauma so responders can accept their reactions without the stigma of a diagnostic label.
