Council adopted Ordinance 6749 (Moose Ridge) on Sept. 9 after extended discussion about slope, wildfire risk and evacuation. The measure rezones roughly 42.43 acres to allow a combination of higher‑density SF‑8 housing on about 23.43 acres while reserving about 20 acres as parks, greenways and open space.
