Board approves $53,456 contract for two Open Gate weapons-detection systems

Dean Tuggle, director of operations, presented quotes and recommended awarding the purchase and installation of two Open Gate weapons-detection systems to CMS Technology Partners for $53,456, funded from the Friends of the Lerner Critical Repairs Equipment Fund. He said the systems speed entry for weapons-free shows and would allow the theatre to recapture set-up revenue previously kept by outside security vendors.
