Algoma council adopts proclamation recognizing Nov. 2–6 as Crash Responder Safety Week
At the clerk's request, the council adopted a Wisconsin DOT-backed proclamation encouraging recognition of crash-responder safety and appreciation for emergency personnel from Nov. 2–6.

The clerk presented a request from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation asking municipalities to participate in designating Nov. 2–6 as crash responder safety week. The clerk said the request had been circulated to local chiefs, the MS director and other officials and recommended Algoma participate in the statewide observance.
