Patrick Halloran proposed forming a private Danville Parks Foundation that would solicit private funds to support programming and parks in the city. Halloran said he already has "verbal commitments for $100,000 in private funding for the creation Of an endowment" and asked the Public Works Committee to begin establishing a working relationship between the foundation and the city.
