The Cumberland County Board of Supervisors approved CUP 26-02, the special-use permit for the Firefly Point Event Facility, during its Aug. 11 meeting after Planning and Zoning Administrator Stephany Johnson presented the application and no members of the public signed up to speak. The motion to approve was offered by Supervisor Paul Stimpson, seconded by Supervisor Bryan Hamlet, and carried unanimously.
