APC staff updated the Citizens Participation Committee on the Northern Corridor Connection, a planning effort sometimes referred to locally as US 231. The presentation clarified that INDOT has not committed to a state highway project and that the corridor could, if pursued, be built as a locally controlled connector rather than an official US 231 alignment.
